This cast iron beetle boot jack provides a practical place to remove garden boots without pulling at them by hand. Its dark charcoal casting has a broad textured body, two curved antennae forming a heel fork and low side supports that rest on a level surface. The beetle wing relief gives the functional shape a decorative finish for a porch or garden entrance. The reference dimensions are 13.2 cm wide, 23.9 cm long and 7.3 cm high, approximately 5.2 x 9.4 x 2.9 inches. Place the jack on firm, level ground. Press one boot onto the body to hold the jack still, fit the other boot heel between the antennae and lift your foot out while the fork holds the heel. Check the heel fits before use and maintain your balance; it is a boot-removal tool rather than a step or seat. One boot jack is included.
