This five-pack of copper plant labels gives you blank writing surfaces for identifying herbs, seedlings and garden plants. Each label combines a rectangular copper nameplate with a galvanized steel wire frame ending in two slender prongs. The plate sits at an angle for reading from above and the wire legs press into soil beside a plant. Each reference stake is 25.4 cm tall, or 10 inches, and the nameplate measures 2.54 x 6.35 cm, approximately 1 x 2.5 inches. Five complete markers are included; a pen, embossing tool, plants and pots are not included. Write a plant name, variety or sowing date on the copper face using a suitable garden marker, or indent the soft copper with a ballpoint pen while the plate rests on a cushioned surface. Position the legs carefully to avoid roots. The blank copper finish can darken and develop a green patina with exposure, so check that your chosen lettering remains readable. Keep the unused markers dry and store the pointed legs safely. Herb names in the use photograph are example handwritten labels; the pack is supplied blank.
