This black snap-corner potting mat provides a defined working surface for repotting plants and collecting loose soil. The selected 60 x 60 cm size refers to the square sheet laid flat, before its four corners are joined, equivalent to approximately 23.62 x 23.62 inches. Light circular press studs connect each corner to raise the sides into a shallow tray. Black bound edging surrounds the flexible coated woven sheet, which can be opened flat or folded away between jobs. Place it on a level potting bench, secure the corner snaps and set your pot and plant within the edges before working. The raised sides help collect scattered compost and small drips, but the mat is not a rigid basin for carrying plants or storing water. Open a corner when clearing the remaining soil, then rinse or wipe the surface and let it dry before folding. One black mat is included; soil, tools, pots and plants are demonstration props.
