Turn and loosen compost with one manual stainless steel spiral aerator. A long metal shaft ends in an open spiral, while the asymmetric crank handle gives two grip positions above the compost. Insert the spiral into suitable loose compost, turn the handle and draw material upward to help mix the pile and introduce air. This is a hand-operated tool rather than a powered auger, and it is intended for compost rather than drilling hard ground, stones or roots. The reference design uses 10 mm stainless steel rod, approximately 0.39 inches thick, with a full height of 88 cm, approximately 34.65 inches. Its adjustable configuration shortens to 54.5 cm, approximately 21.46 inches, for lower working spaces. Check that the shaft connection is secure before use and keep the spiral clear of people and animals while handling it. Work at a comfortable height with gloves and avoid excessive force when material resists. The order includes one aerator with its adjustable shaft and integral crank, with no compost bin, gloves or other garden equipment. Rinse away remaining compost after use and dry before storage. Composting results depend on the mixture, moisture and routine rather than this tool alone.
