Use one two-liter terracotta olla as a refillable buried watering vessel beside garden plants. The unglazed clay jar has a rounded belly, a narrow neck and a flared filling mouth, supplied with a removable natural cork stopper. Bury the belly and shoulders in soil while leaving the narrow neck and mouth above the surface. Fill through the opening and replace the stopper to help keep debris out. Water moves through porous clay into the surrounding soil, providing a simple way to direct moisture near roots rather than spraying over foliage. Its nominal capacity is two liters, approximately 0.53 US gallons. Overall external dimensions are unverified and are not inferred from the photographs. Actual refill frequency depends on soil, weather, plant size and placement; no fixed watering duration or water-saving percentage is promised. Position the jar carefully to avoid damaging established roots and refill as needed while checking surrounding soil moisture. The order includes one terracotta jar and one cork stopper. Plants, watering can, soil and other garden props shown are not included. Handle the clay gently and remove and empty the jar before freezing conditions to reduce the risk of damage.
